THE STORY
Far away in the frozen North Pole, Santa’s elves are working long and hard to find the perfect wrapping for each child’s hand-picked gift, while closer to home in the town of Wimpole, a wicked plan is underway to replace the beautiful gifts with tacky toys from Plasticopia, and so to destroy the magic of Christmas!
Could this be the end of the roll for the elves? Can the greedy Smash and Grab twins really succeed in tearing out the heart of Christmas and replacing it with a £ sign? Will their Ninja Knights on oily bikes replace Santa’s reindeer? Or can brave Little Elf undo the evil doings and finally save the day?

There are 48 speaking parts plus 5 essential non-speaking reindeer roles, 3 essential non-speaking child roles (Child 4, 5 & 6) and an essential non-speaking floor manager, so a cast size of 57 as a minimum.
INCREASING THE CAST SIZE
The speaking parts can easily be increased to 60 if you allow for additional workers and shoppers and split the lines accordingly. Have as many additional non-speaking elves, reindeer, children, shoppers and workers as you like.
DECREASING THE CAST SIZE
The cast list can be reduced to 42 (42 speaking parts, doubling those up for essential non-speaking parts) by doing the following:
- Reduce number of teachers to 3 and reallocate lines accordingly
- Reduce number of shop assistants from 4 to 2 and split lines between them
- The 3 teachers and 2 shop assistants double up as the 5 essential non-speaking reindeer
- Just have Press 1 who says all ‘Press’ lines and doubles as Child 6
- The 2 shop assistants double as the 2 Ninja Knight Riders and Child 4 & 5
- Different children to take the role of Floor Manager when they are free to do so

- A current Annual Performance Licence is required to perform a musical or nativity to an audience (other than to pupils & staff), including an online audience, and irrespective of whether admission charges are made.

- An Annual Performance Licence covers any number of performances of a particular musical or nativity within 12 months of the date of ordering. A separate Annual Performance Licence is required for each product title.
